About Us
Hi! I'm Wendy, founder of Root to Bone Herbal Wellness.
I grew up in a small Massachusetts town, where nature was part of my everyday life. The lilacs in our backyard, the streams running through the woods, and the quiet presence of the mountains all shaped how I saw the world. Even as a child, I could feel the energy of the earth, and I knew: nature speaks, if we're willing to listen.
As I grew older, I realized how deeply our well-being is connected to the natural world. I became a massage therapist to help people feel at home in their bodies, then expanded into yoga and personal training to empower others to move with ease and intention. But something still felt incomplete, like I was circling around a deeper truth I hadn't quite reached.
The truth came quietly, from something I had already been practicing for years: herbalism.
What began as making teas, salves, and tinctures for my family slowly turned into a passion I couldn't ignore. I devoured every book I could find, studied from beloved teachers like Rosemary Gladstar, Sajah Popham, Margi Flint, and many others. I kept learning, experimenting, and creating- because the more I worked with the plants, the more I understood how much wisdom they hold.
Eventually, I began sharing my herbal creations with clients, and something clicked. This was the missing piece: reconnecting people not only to their bodies, but to the Earth itself. In a world that has taught us to ignore our symptoms and silence our intuition, herbalism reminds us to come back to ourselves. To live more simply. To listen. To trust.
Root to Bone Herbal Wellness was born from that place- where body, spirit, and Earth meet. Everything I create is rooted in a desire to support your healing journey, wherever you are, and to help you remember that wellness doesn't have to be complicated. It's already within you. Nature just shows us the way.
Welcome to Root and Bone. I'm so glad you're here.

We are devoted to guiding others towards restful sleep, inner calm, and holistic nourishment through nature's wisdom, supporting harmony of body, mind, and spirit.
