For when you want warmth, connection, lightness, and a little more joy in your day
The Fire Element
"I want to feel alive, open, and connected."
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fire is the element of warmth, connection, joy, expression, and illumination.
Fire is associated with the Heart and Small Intestine* systems, and with the Shen, the spirit or consciousness housed within the Heart.
Fire is the part of us that connects, communicates, laughs, creates, loves, and reaches outward.
But healthy Fire isn't about being constantly stimulated or "on." Like an actual flame, it needs the right balance: enough warmth to illuminate, without burning through the fuel that sustains it.
*A Note on Traditional Chinese Medicine
The Five Elements- Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water- are part of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. They describe relationships and patterns within the body, mind, emotions, seasons, and natural world.
The terms used here (including Heart, Small Intestines, Qi, and other Chinese medicine concepts) refer to TCM theory and do not correspond directly to the physical organs or biomedical diagnoses used in Western medicine.

Why Nourish Fire?
Fire gives us spark.
It's the laughter shared across a table, the warmth of connection, the feeling of being inspired, and the little flicker of curiosity that makes us want to engage with life.
But Fire also needs tending.
Too little fire can feel like disconnection or lack of vitality. Too much can become restless, scattered, or consuming.
Nourishing Fire is therefore less about creating more stimulation and more about supporting a steady, radiant warmth.
This tea was created as a bright, refreshing ritual for those moments when you want to reconnect with your own spark.
The Herbal Formula
Green Tea
Green tea provides the lively foundations of Fire. Naturally containing caffeine and L-theanine, it offers a gentle source of alertness while contributing a fresh, slightly vegetal character.
Why it's here? Provides the spark and brightness at the heart of the blend.
Chrysanthemum Flower
Chrysanthemum flower is a classic Chinese herbal tea ingredient traditionally associated with clearing excess heat and supporting the Liver and eyes. Its delicate flowers bring a soft, honeyed floral quality.
Why it's here? Brings cooling balance and beautiful floral radiance to Fire's warmth.
Rose
Rose brings an aromatic softness and connects beautifully with the emotional and Heart centered symbolism of Fire. Its fragrance makes the tea feel more like a ritual than simply a functional beverage.
Why it's here? Represents the Heart, connection, beauty, and the joy of being fully present.
Peppermint
Peppermint adds a refreshing aromatic quality and helps balance the vegetal character of green tea. Its cooling nature creates a lively contrast with Fire's warmth.
Why it's here? Adds freshness, movement, and a bright finish.
Marshmallow Root
Marshmallow root is rich in mucilage and traditionally used as a soothing demulcent. In this blend, its gentle texture helps soften the sharper notes of green tea, peppermint, and chrysanthemum.
Why it's here? Provides softness and balance, keeping Fire from becoming too sharp or stimulating.
The Fire Ritual
Fire is the element of presence.
Brew this tea when you want to reconnect with yourself, with another person, or with something that makes you feel alive.
Let the rose open as the tea steeps. Notice the color of the chrysanthemum. Feel the warmth of the cup in your hands. Then ask yourself:
What brings me joy when I stop trying to be productive?
Maybe it's music. Maybe it's laughter. Maybe it's creativity.
Maybe it's simply sitting in the sun.
Let your ritual be a reminder that joy is nourishment, too.
Gather your warmth. Protect your spark. Let yourself shine.

FAQ
FAQ
What does the Fire element represent? Fire is associated with warmth, joy, connection, communication, consciousness, and the Heart. It represents the part of us that radiates outward and connects with the world.
Does Fire tea contain caffeine? Yes. Green tea naturally contains caffeine. The amount will vary depending on the tea used, the amount brewed, and steeping time.
Is this a calming tea? Not specifically. Fire tea is designed to be bright, refreshing, and gently enlivening, rather than primarily sedating or relaxing.
Why is chrysanthemum in a Fire tea if it's cooling? That's actually part of the intention. In TCM, Fire isn't synonymous with heat. Chrysanthemum brings a cooling balancing quality that helps keep Fire radiant rather than excessive.
Can I drink this every day? For most healthy adults, moderate consumption can be part of a varied tea routine. Because this blend contains green tea and therefore caffeine, consider your overall caffeine intake and individual sensitvity.
